About Us
Introduction
Discover a New Side of Ishikawa
Our company has handled translation and interpretation for decades, and we began operating guest houses and offering tour-guide services in 2017, targeting overseas visitors to Japan.
Our track record of translation and interpretation services means not only that we can serve guests in various languages, but also that our staff has encountered a great deal of fascinating information that can be shared with guests.
We have close personal and professional ties with the community cultivated over many years, enabling us to offer encounters with people like traditional artisans who ordinarily don't open their workshop doors to the public.
Virtually all of our staff is either originally from Ishikawa or has lived in Ishikawa for many years, providing an intimate familiarity with the area and a strong enthusiasm to share it with guests.
Some of our biggest Ishikawa fans are actually our foreign-born staff members, whose “outsider” perspective can sometimes offer insights that locals might miss — including fascinating little details that locals might simply consider a part of everyday life.
We are world travelers with a spirit of adventure — we have lived in various countries, and love new personal encounters.

I’ve long had a passion for travel. Perhaps the most impressive place I’ve ever been to is Tibet — the experience left a lasting impact on me. I’m also a fan of mountain climbing, especially in summer, so I’m lucky to live in a place like Ishikawa that has such great mountains!
I believe that no visit to Kanazawa is complete without an early-morning visit to Kenrokuen Garden — it’s very peaceful with virtually no one else there, and it even has free admission if you go early enough. At night, it’s always fun to go out to Kiguramachi or Katamachi, some of Kanazawa’s restaurant districts, to check out some of the local places for dinner and drinks. I’m always glad to offer recommendations for great sushi and Italian restaurants in the area, too.
I did a lot of backpacking when I was younger, and that experience ultimately brought me to my current job. Travel can be a fascinating, powerful experience, with the power to change people’s lives. It would be my pleasure to help bring people experiences like these through our services.

I was born and raised here in Ishikawa, and I have years of experience working as an interpreter and as a guide.
Join me as we discover Kanazawa, a city that was once the second richest place in Japan back in the days of the samurai. Even today, there are glimpses of this glorious local history and traditional samurai culture to be found all around town. As we explore the city, I can share all sorts of fascinating stories behind the places we go and things we see.
If time allows, I would love to take you to see the hidden gems of Ishikawa in the southern part of the prefecture, for more authentic, more intimate experiences in a tranquil setting that is often overlooked by travelers. My motto is “treasure every encounter, for it will only happen once” — I always make sure to personalize each and every tour, so that your time in Ishikawa will be truly unique and unforgettable!

I’ve been travelling since I was young, and have always loved meeting new people from all around the world. Working here, I’m happy to share my love for Japanese culture, which was my major in university, and for Ishikawa, which has been my home for years now.
I love the diversity of the natural environment here through all four seasons, and how passionate the local people are about preserving traditional arts and crafts. The food and sake here are also amazing — the region has something to offer for everyone.
My favourite foods here are definitely seafood dishes like sushi and sashimi, but even if you aren’t fond of fish, there are plenty more delicious things to enjoy.
I am still discovering new sides of Japanese culture and history. I would love to invite you to join me on this neverending journey.

As I write this, I’ve had the pleasure of calling Ishikawa my home for half a decade now. The prefecture resonates deeply with my love for arts and philosophy; Ishikawa is a phenomenal place to pursue both of these passions.
One of my favorite places here is the Ishikawa Nishida Kitaro Museum of Philosophy. It’s not just a museum; it’s an immersive experience where visitors can delve into the life and ideas of the philosopher Kitaro Nishida. The design of the building itself encourages introspection, inviting us to ponder life’s profound questions.
And of course, Ishikawa is widely renowned for its food culture, especially sushi! There’s even more to enjoy than its exceptional flavor — witnessing the masterful skills of sushi chefs at work is a true delight all its own.
Ishikawa offers a truly diverse destination to explore, perfect for a wide range of interests. No matter what you’re passionate about, you’re sure to find something here that sparks your curiosity!
