With its location right next to both Higashi Chaya and Kazuemachi, two of Kanazawa’s three geisha districts, Shimoshin-cho Iori is a perfect accommodation for those who are seeking to immerse themselves in Kanazawa’s serene townscape and deep cultural traditions.
The three-story building was renovated from late 2024 to early 2025, with the first floor being home to our studio, unveil, and Shimoshin-cho Iori on the second and third floor. The third floor has three bedrooms with a total of seven beds. The second floor has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a Japanese-style bedroom with space for up to three futons. There is a restroom on each floor. There is also free parking for up to two cars a short, two-minute walk away from the house. It is an ideal rental for those traveling with their family or friend groups!

Accommodations for Children
Up to three children aged five and under can stay for free if they share a bedding with an adult. For children aged six and above, adult rates will apply and bedding will be provided
Notes
• Payment must be made in advance
• We do not provide pajamas or yukata robes
• There are many other people who live nearby, so please keep the windows closed after 21:00, and try not to make any loud noises
• Smoking and fireworks are strictly prohibited on-site, including the entrance, and on all nearby roads
• To reduce plastic waste and be more environmentally friendly, we encourage you to bring your own toiletries. If you forget yours, however, we have complimentary ones available. We do provide towels, but only one set per guest for every two nights of stay
